After hearing anecdotes from the field that Immunocal was having beneficial effects on certain skin lesions including pressure ulcers (bedsores), it was decided to take this to an official study. Bedsores are called “pressure ulcers” because they occur in patients that are lying in bed for prolonged periods of time and the skin that is under pressure from the weight of the patient begins to break down.
