PurposeToinvestigatetheeffectofactivewheyprotein(ABD) on nutritional and immune status of mice bearing triple- negative breast cancer(TNBC) undergoing chemotherapy. Methods The triple-negative breast cancer 4T1 cells were inoculated in BALB/c mice.

Breast cancer was induced in mice. Four treatment groups were randomly selected: 1) control (no treatment), 2) Paclitaxel (chemotherapy), 3) Paclitaxel (chemotherapy) with casein, and 4) Paclitaxel (chemotherapy) with Immunocal (here called “ABD”).
